Now in early access
SumIt's MCP server connects your ledgers, balances, and journal entries to the AI tools your team already uses — so you can ask questions in plain English and get answers grounded in your real numbers.
Your AI assistant queries SumIt directly, and only sees what you let it see.
MCP — the Model Context Protocol — is the new open standard for connecting AI assistants to live data. SumIt was built for it.
Controllers, accountants, family members, and family office principals ask questions the way they'd ask a junior analyst. "What's the trial balance for the trust as of last quarter?" "Show me all entries tagged 'Q1 capital call.'" The AI runs the lookup against SumIt and answers in seconds.
Read-only access, scoped to the organizations you authorize. Every query runs through SumIt's permission system — the AI can see exactly what the connecting user can see, and nothing more. Every tool call is logged.
You'll sign in once to authorize the connection — exactly the same login you use for SumIt today. The AI assistant takes care of the rest.

A family office's books are some of the most sensitive data in any organization. The MCP server was built with that as the starting constraint.
The current tools surface read access. The AI cannot create, edit, post, or delete entries.
The MCP server is in early access for SumIt customers. Talk to your account team to enable it for your organization.
